ROBIN HOOD MOVIE

Universal pictures presents for 2010 the Ridley Scott epic "Robin Hood" starring Russell Crowe, it is set to be a dramatic, big budget tale of the legendary outlaw of Sherrwood forest in Nottingham.

I was asked if my horses could be the model's for the harness and saddlery being made and fitted by our friend Roger Whitehead for the movie, in perticular for Russell Crowe's horses, our stallion Mejicano XXIX was the chosen boy, although take a look at his expresion on the photo's, when it came to the full chain mail armour, he decided going into battle was not for him, he's a lover not a fighter, but all the attention and camera's were right up his street.

This new version of the film is far more action packed with battle scenes than the previous, "Robin Hood Prince of Thieves" that our old stallion took part in with Kevin Costner.
